Results from our HVAC work, and what transfers to Richmond trades

Our published case studies come from heating and cooling companies. Here's what each one achieved, which method produced it, and how that method applies to a Richmond trade that isn't in HVAC.

Written by Ali Sedighi, MBALast updated:

Every result on this page comes from our HVAC work: heating, cooling and boiler companies in Canada. We don't have published plumbing, electrical or roofing case studies, so we don't pretend to. What these cases do show is a method that works for any trade where customers search urgently, compare a few options and book the one they trust.

We are a marketing service, not a contractor. The client businesses below did the trade work; the group handled the marketing.

BCWide.ca: three times the leads in 90 days

BCWide.ca tripled its leads within 90 days.

What it shows: a BC trade business doesn't always need years to see a change. A single season can be enough to move lead volume by a multiple.

What transfers to a Richmond trade: the 90-day window is roughly how long it takes to set up tracking, launch focused paid search, clean up a Google profile and learn which jobs pay. A Richmond plumber or electrician going through the same steps should expect a clearer picture of cost per job in that time, even if the exact multiple differs.

GasBoilers.ca: a specialist division with strong local proof

CANRO Heat asked the group to build a gas-boiler division, and the result was GasBoilers.ca. Today that brand works across 26+ BC communities, with 5.0★ from 76+ Google reviews.

What it shows: a narrow, specialist brand can stand out when it explains one type of work very well, and a steady review routine builds trust that ads can't buy.

What transfers: if you do one type of job better than most (repiping, panel upgrades, flat-roof repairs, drain replacement), give it its own service page, its own ads and its own proof. The review side transfers directly: ask every satisfied customer, by text, soon after the invoice. Our local search service includes that routine.

CanroHeat.ca: 250% lead growth

CanroHeat.ca grew its leads by 250%.

What it shows: enquiries for a trade can grow by multiples, not just by a few percent, when marketing gets sustained attention.

What transfers: in our experience, most Richmond trades already have pieces in place: a website, a Google profile, maybe some ads. The gain usually comes from connecting them: one set of service pages that the profile, the ads and the reviews all point to.

HeatLand: content at scale

Over six months, HeatLand lifted leads by 300%, backed by a library of 850+ SEO articles.

What it shows: a large library of genuinely useful answers can bring in searchers long before they're ready to book, and many come back when they are.

What transfers: a Richmond trade doesn't need 850 articles. But twenty clear answers to the questions your customers ask most ("how long does a hot water tank last", "do I need a permit to move an outlet in a condo", "what does a strata usually cover") can do the same job at small scale. Write them once, link them from your service pages, and translate the top few if your customers prefer Chinese.

Roma Heating & Cooling: organic growth over a year

Roma Heating & Cooling grew organic traffic by 400% in 12 months.

What it shows: organic search is a long game that compounds. The first months are slow; the second half of the year is where the curve bends.

What transfers: if you can afford to fund local search for a full year, the long-run cost per job usually falls below what paid search alone can deliver. That's why we often pair the two: ads for calls now, local search for cheaper calls later.

How to read these results

A few honest notes:

  • They're HVAC results. Heating and cooling has strong seasonal demand and high ticket sizes, which helps marketing pay back. Your trade will have its own pattern; our seasonal calendar guide covers Richmond's.
  • They're not averages. Each is a single client's result, named and linked.
  • They don't promise anything. We commit to the work and the reporting, not to a number.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have plumbing or roofing case studies?

Not published ones. Our public case studies are from HVAC companies, and we label them that way. We'd rather show real results from a related trade than invent results in yours.

Will I get the same numbers?

No one can promise that. Results depend on your market, your prices, how fast you answer and how good your work is. The case studies show what the method can do, not what it will do for you.

Can I see the live sites?

Yes. Every case study links to the client's live website, and the full list is on HVAC.Agency's case-study page.
